November is here which means it’s time to say goodbye to pumpkin flavor season and hello to the far superior, peppermint flavor season.
It’s also National Novel Writing Month!
While NaNo isn’t for me, I do love what this month does for the writing community.
By nature, writing is such a solitary pursuit/activity, and sometimes it can get lonely. But NaNoWriMo changes that, giving us a global challenge/event filled with mutual support and enthusiasm.
So to my fellow novelists who are participating, I wish you the best. May your writing skills be sharpened, may your word count goals be met and may you plow though self-doubt to find yourself at the finish line.
Thank you! I’m participating in NaNoWriMo again this year. Never completed the dreaded 50K, but I always benefited from participating. I’m hoping to complete the first draft of my novel.
I agree that the support NaNo provides is so huge for all writers. It’s going to be an exciting (and long) month!
How exciting! Best of luck with your NaNo project!
